Saleeman Shehu Ibrahim graduated from Bayero University, Kano, B.A.(ED) Education in year 1983 and also he had Master Degree (M.Sc) in Economics from the University of Ilorin.

He is a fellow of many professional bodies; Institute of Chartered Economic and Institute of Operations Research of Nigeria and Associate Member of Nigeria Institute of Management.

He ascended to the position of Deputy Provost of Kwara State College of Education before he retired. He was one time a Director in Ilorin Community Bank now Ilorin Microfinance Bank Limited.
